BitPay Teams Up with Banxa to Boost Crypto Payments for XRP and SHIB

Crypto payment platform, BitPay, recently made waves with its declaration on X about its collaboration with transaction facilitator, Banxa.

This collaboration paves the way for BitPay’s worldwide clientele to procure a range of cryptocurrencies, notably Ripple (XRP) and Shiba Inu (SHIB). The partnership also expands the scope of banking techniques and introduces a multitude of traditional currency options for transactions.

In their announcement, the BitPay team shared, “We’re thrilled to welcome Banxa aboard. This partnership amplifies the transaction avenues open to BitPay users, both on our app and our online portal.”

The joint statement revealed that crypto enthusiasts from regions spanning the Americas to Oceania have the convenience of leveraging local payment systems. For instance, Dutch users can utilize iDEAL, a digital payment system facilitating purchases online directly via bank details. Meanwhile, European patrons have the SEPA system at their disposal, and American users can harness the capabilities of the ACH for electronic financial exchanges.

Given the latest shifts in the cryptocurrency market, two digital currencies supported by BitPay—XRP and SHIB—have shown impressive trajectories in their valuations. Ripple’s XRP, which has always held a prominent position in the crypto realm, reached a noteworthy milestone as it touched a significant two-month high, surpassing the $0.58 threshold. This demonstrates the renewed interest and confidence investors have placed in the currency.

On the other hand, Shiba Inu, commonly known as SHIB, has also been on the radar of many crypto enthusiasts. Its recent performance is testament to its growing traction, as it registered a notable 10% uptick within a mere 24-hour timeframe. Furthermore, on a weekly analysis, SHIB’s value has catapulted by an impressive 20%, highlighting the currency’s potential and the bullish sentiment surrounding it in the current market landscape.
